Came promptly as described. Not for the collector, this is for people who want to USE the abacus, not look at it, but it is tough. My one-year-old has thrown, shaken, and stepped on it and it is still in one piece. It is more fun that punching numbers into a calculator, and by visualizing the abacus, I am much faster at doing calculations in my head. Now I just close my eyes for a second and visualize the abacus instead of reaching for my cell phone calculator. It does take lots of practice, though, but it’s fun and relaxing.
