Initially I was disappointed with the top because it is not pocket-sized like others I’ve had. But it quickly grew on me because the light show is much bigger and more mezmerizing. I use it as a timer often by spinning it as I sit at the computer and stopping work when the top stops spinning. That is usually 30 to 40m minutes because it drifts into something. Otherwise, it is a super desk top novelty.
