Great Cash Register,
My 5yr old daughter has a very vivid imagination and loves to play store or restaurant. After looking into many other cash registers I decided on this one for Christmas. She loved it! She especially likes the scanner part. The drawer opens and it comes with play money, paper and coins. It is also educational because it have letters on the keys and food items and talks. Perfect for her to ring us out and learn more at the same time!
Can be used to help teach about giving change too!Fisher-Price Fun-2-Learn 2-In-1 Learning Cash Register

|Not enough like the real thing,
I reviewed all the register’s on Amazon, and chose this one. My son was disappointed because there is not a red light to scan things, like his friend’s. Also, the microphone is there for looks. It does not magnify the voice. I appreciate it for educational reasons, but I wish it was more like the real thing……so it could serve both purposes. I believe that there are too many things going on with this register for a child to really enjoy it. This is more frustrating than fun for a 3 year old.

|Lots of Fun,
This has been a great toy. In regular mode, it is fun to beep the scanner and enter in prices for items as you buy them, then hit total to find out how much your purchases cost. Switch it to the game mode to learn more about numbers, colors, and letters of the alphabet. The play money is a hit too. All around a great fun and educational toy for my four year old.
