The modern version of skiing fun is a gradual metamorphosis of the traditional snowshoeing. It was Sondre Norheim, a Norwegian, who pioneered winter skiing fun. He is generally referred to as the grandfather of the modern skiing sport. This is because he invented Slalom during the early 1800′s. The Slalom is what we refer to today as Telemark skiing. Skiing fun is one of the most popular adventure attractions in the world today with schools of many ski resorts available to train beginners on the basics before setting out for such an adventure.
