The fun was over way too quickly,
Think Fun makes a wide variety of puzzles. Some (Spinout, Block by Block, Gordian Knot) are a lot of fun. Others (Lift Off, Double Rings) are not so much fun because they are too easy. This one falls into the second category. 30 seconds after I had removed it from the box, I had figured out the solution. It’s not that it was a bad puzzle. It’s just that the it’s not very difficult to figure out. And it’s rated Level 3 (hard). Perhaps for an 8 year old, it might take longer to figure out, but the average adult will probably be done with it inside of 5 minutes. And it doesn’t have any replay value. Once you know the solution, that’s it. I’d pass on this one.

I let some friends (adults) and some jr. high and high school students try it and most of them actually gave up before solving it. So perhaps it is not as easy as I thought it was. Maybe I just got lucky or maybe my experience trying other brainteasers puzzles (I have done lots of them) helped me more than I realized. It might be a more of a challenge than I initially gave it credit for.
