These balls did not retain there “round” shape from the minute my 2 1/2 year old daughter played with them. The balls have that “smashed in” appearance and you cannot get them back to the original shape. I purchased these balls to add to the ball playland made by the Moose Mountain Toymakers, Ltd that I purchased for my daughter for Christmas. The balls that were included with the ball playland have retained their shape, unlike the balls I purchased separately.

My only real gripe about this product is that these balls are inconsistent in quality – some are made of thicker material than others. But that’s not really a problem, for me anyway.
These are, whichever way you look at them, thin plastic balls. They will crush, ding, dent or otherwise loose their perfect roundness if you let anything heavier than say, another plastic ball, collide with them. I mean, would you expect an egg to be able to cope with a three year old child jumping on it? No. It’s an egg.
However!
If this distresses you greatly, you can resurrect them by warming them very gently with a hairdryer. Or as I did, leave them next to a heating vent.
I placed an order for 1000 of these, they arrived in bags of 100, some rectangular bags, some cylindrical bags. The last 300 arrived loose in two boxes (150 balls a piece). I called the manufacturer and they explained why this may happen… They ship bulk. If a box can be filled with 150 balls, it will cost the same as shipping with a bag of 100 balls and the box 1/3 empty. They use common sense – ship more in a box for the same price and SAVE YOU MONEY.
The bags these things ship in are meant to hold plastic balls. They will not hold up well if you choose to constantly pack and unpack them. They will not hold up well if you use them for anything other than storage. I’m thinking I will not want to repack 1000 balls into 10 bags anyway.

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the balls. Out of the 100 balls, only 19 were in good condition. The other 81 were soft and dented. The balls actually seemed to be made of two different types of plastics. Most of them were a soft, thin plastic. A few, mostly the ones in good condition, seemed to be made of a harder plastic.
I contacted the manufacturer about my disappointment. A representative called me the same day she received my letter! She said I should send some balls to their warehouse and they would replace them. I’m about to do that now. I’m curious to see what the quality of those balls are.
Even though the balls are dented and soft, both my 1 and 3 1/2 year olds love playing with them in their tent! They don’t care at all about the shape of the balls.

We recieved the balls but they came in a box, no tote bag as pictured , I was disapointed and the balls are somewhat squashed ,not all of them but most of them.other than that my son loves them.

I ordered 200 of these for my son’s 1st birthday party. They arrived in perfect shape (no smushed balls). 200 was enough to fill 2 small kiddie pools (each about 3 or 4′ diameter). The toddlers LOVED it!
100 balls turned out to be a smaller volume than I expected, and I feel like $[...] is a bit steep for what you get. They come in a plastic carrying bag with a handle, which is nice, but it’s hard to get all the balls back in there. Also, the bag is not very durable; we’re already having zipper problems.
Overall, a decent value, and great fun.

My son got this toy when he was around 6 months old. Our Parents as Teachers advisor told us that pat mats were good for babies development. My son really loves smacking the mat with his hands and crawling around it and watching the toys inside move. I like this pat mat compared to others because it is easy for him to crawl all the way around and explore the whole toy.

My daughter is 2 and disabled and she loves this. I can lay it on the floor and put her on her side by it. If you put her ear on it it sounds like your under water. I put it on her tray and she is so amazed by it. Should be marketed for disabled children.

I found this mat to be very entertaining for a younger baby. It interests them enough that they try to tripod and or begin to creep. Of course it would not hold the attention of the baby that is actually crawling because those babies have places to go! It works well from about 3 months to 6 or so, depending on when your baby starts to be mobile. Good value. I don’t want to invest a lot for a toy that is developmentally necessary but is outgrown quickly so this was perfect.

Upon opening this toy we discovered that there are no instructions. We went to Amazon reviews to see if there were any tips. There were recommendations of pinching, using plyers, etc.
All you need to do is submerge it in a tub of water.
Raise the spout to be higher than the other end and you will see bubbles come out. I ended up blowing air into the large spout then submerging to get more water into it.
When the desired level of water is reached, push out remaining air. There should be “some” air in the water pocket but not too much.
Hope this helps.

So sad to say our 6 month old daughter had a wonderful time playing with it for one day. She’s petite and although her 5 year old brother enjoyed showing her how to push down by day 2 it had sprung a leak. I don’t believe my son did anything to make that happen. But certainly we were disappointed to throw it out before it had been in our home 48 hours.
